Our content management systems (CMS) offer a variety of features that make content creation easier, quicker & more accessible. Content management systems are not restricted to websites however. In 2002, E-creation introduced the concept of 'shell-based' CD-ROMs, where content for the CD-ROM is authored via a content management system reducing the development cycles, cost and level of bugs in CD-ROMs. The system was used by Harcourt Education to develop over 50 CD-ROMs, with a reduction in their development time-scale from 2 years to 3 months for a typical CD-ROM!
